Remote patient monitoring

Medicare and some other payers cover remote patient monitoring (for example CPT 99453, 99454, 99457 and 99458, with newer codes for fewer days of data) when their requirements are met. We set up the program and the tracking for your clinic. Your practice or biller submits the claims.

Is it HIPAA compliant?
The platform is built for HIPAA compliance: a dedicated environment on Microsoft Azure, encryption, two-step login and audit logs, and we sign a BAA with your practice. Your own policies and staff training are also part of compliance, and we'll walk you through what's covered on our side.
Can we bill insurance for remote patient monitoring?
Medicare and some other payers cover remote patient monitoring when their requirements are met, including FDA-cleared devices that send readings automatically and enough days of readings each month. We set up the tracking and monthly reports for your clinic; your practice or biller submits the claims. Coverage varies by payer and codes change yearly, so confirm the details with your biller. We don't guarantee reimbursement or provide billing or coding advice.

If your EHR offers an API (most modern ones support FHIR), we can connect it. We confirm what's possible for your EHR during the scoping call.
